Gemini Packaging Ltd. and Stater Brothers Case Settles for $5,100

On June 26, 2014, a case was settled with Gemini Packaging Ltd. and Stater Brothers for manufacturing and selling (respectively) non-compliant “store brand” carpet cleaner into the state of California, in violation of title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94590(a). The sale of the non-compliant carpet cleaner from April 2011 to October 2013 resulted in approximately 0.33 tons of excess VOC emissions. Both companies signed the same settlement agreement, and paid $5,100 to settle the case.
