Fuchs Lubricants Company Case Settles for $14,000
On August 16, 2012, a Consumer Products case was settled with Fuchs Lubricants Company for selling and/or supplying non-compliant Silkolene Pro Prep automotive surface conditioner. This product contributed 0.88 tons of excess VOC emissions due to exceeding the 15% by weight VOC limit set under Consumer Products Regulation for Automotive Wax/Polish/Sealant/Glaze under title 17, California Code of Regulations (CCR), section 94509(a). Fuchs paid $14,000 to settle this case.
