Fromm International Case Settles for $3,000.00

On February 27, 2013, a case was settled with Fromm International for selling “Diane Products Perfect Results Cherry Curling Spritz” and “Perfect Results Strawberry Curling Spritz” products, subject to the VOC limit for Hair Styling Products: Aerosol and Pump Sprays category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 6 percent by weight VOC limit. There were approximately 0.09 tons of excess emissions and the company paid $3,000 to settle the case.
