Framesi North America Case Settles for $22,800

On December 12, 2014, a case was settled with Framkat LP dba Framesi North America for selling/manufacturing “Biogenal Proform Thermal Setting Lotion” and “Biogenal Design Spray” subject to the VOC limit for Hair Styling Products, Aerosol and Pump Spray category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The products contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 6 percent by weight VOC limit. Excess emissions in this case were approximately 2.1 tons. The company paid $22,800.00 to settle the case.
