Submitted Comment Name ROBERT WHITEHAIR Affiliation San Mateo Climate Action Team Subject Proposed Rule on Water Heating and Space Heating Appliance Message My wife and I have eliminated gas in our award winning home, and we encourage everyone else to do so. The proposal for appliance standards now before CARB fails to help others do the same. It does not properly align with state climate goals It falls far short in reducing emissions. We are out of time time, and the proposal does nothing to help fix that. A very very small portion of California home owner need to upgrade the size of their electrical panels. However, CARB's analysis overstates the need for electrical service upsizing associated with installing heat pumps, and other Green House Gas Reduction appliances File Upload (i.e., Attachments): N/A N/A
