Don't listen to the FUD around heat pumps

There is a ton of FUD, fear uncertainty and doubt being thrown around about heat pumps in California. They're expensive, they're unreliable, contractors won't install them, they aren't affordable to operate!

None of that is true, and the FUD is likely coming from oil and gas special interest groups, homeowners who haven't installed a heat pump, or contractors who haven't installed heat pumps, or are currently overcharging customers to do so.

Mandating the conversion of homes and businesses over to heat pumps will do much to "normalize" the installation of them in California, so more people can pay normal prices much as I have paid to install mine. I've attached both install costs, electrical upgrades, and running energy costs for my heat pump central air and HPWH.
