Submitted Comment Name Amaury Berteaud Affiliation Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments Subject AMBAG Comments - Zero-Emission Space and Water Heater Standards Message AMBAG recommends adopting the alternative 2 regulatory concept in order to set emissive sales limits that are more ambitious, and more closely aligned with the measures included in the CARB 2022 scoping plan. AMBAG also recommends creating a process for revising the yearly emissive sales limits every 5 years, in 2035 and 2040, in order to enable CARB staff and stakeholders to consider adjusting the limits in response to market conditions.
