Submitted Comment Name Emily Glass Affiliation LF Energy, LLC Subject Land Use Change and Sustainability Message Hello, I am commenting on behalf of our corn produces about the restrictions around land use change in the most recent ruling. Many farmers have worked with state or federal conservation agencies, including USDA-NRCS. If they have land use change since the stated cutoff date, but are able to provide documentation that they worked with the appropriate authorities to make this decision, I urge CARB to accept this documentation and to accept the crops from these fields to be used in liquid biofuels accepted by the LCFS. Exclusion of these fields would de-incentivize farms to partner with conservation organizations to make land decisions that are in the best interest of the local ecosystems.
