E15 Support and Guidance

The Marine Corps League, Department of California, represents Marines and their families throughout California. We are also part of the California State Commanders Veterans Council, where we join with other VSOs and their respective leadership to ensure that veteran advocates are focused on smart legislation and policy that addresses real concerns of veterans. A core part of our mission is making sure those who served our country can access the benefits and medical care they have earned.

Transportation is central to that commitment. Many veterans rely on programs such as the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Transportation Network and other local services to get to VA hospitals and clinics. Rising fuel costs strain these efforts, making it harder to sustain the level of support veterans deserve. Expanding access to E15 can help ease those pressures by lowering costs, while also improving air quality, an important benefit for veterans living with respiratory or service-connected health conditions.

We supported AB 30 this year because it expands access to a fuel choice that is both more affordable and cleaner. We now urge CARB to provide interim guidance on E15 rollout so these benefits can reach veterans and their families as soon as possible.
