Scope 1 and 2 Excel Template Comments

Row 54 "Enter your Scope 2 total indirect emissions (in mtCO2e)"- If a company reports and calculates both Location-Based and Market-Based Scope 2 emissions, which should be reported here? Is there another row or section where you can report both Location-based and Market-based Scope 2 figures?

Row 58 "Enter Scope 2 emission intensity per million dollars in revenue (in mtCO₂e/millions of dollars)" - Is there a place to specify if the reported Scope 2 emission intensity metric is based on Location-Based or Market-Based Scope 2?

Row 74 "enter total emission reductions from direct contracts for renewable electricity (in mtCO2e)"- What qualifies as a “direct contract”? Does this include only PPAs and VPPAs, or would utility green tariffs, green retail, Community Choice Aggregation (CCA), and standard utility delivery with renewable content also be eligible?

Optional Fields (row 78-175) - Could CARB clarify which of these gas breakdowns are likely to become mandatory in future reporting cycles? Specifically, for Scope 2 emissions from purchased electricity and Scope 1 Stationary Combustion, it’s unclear how gases like HFCs, PFCs, or SF6 would be relevant or reportable. Would CARB consider narrowing the gas breakdown to only those gases typically associated with the category (e.g., CO2, CH4, N2O for electricity generation and stationary combustion; HFCs and PFCs for Scope 1 Process and Scope 1 Fugitive)
