The Trump administration’s rollbacks are harmful to our health, economy, and environment. California must respond with strong state-level incentives for EVs, accelerated clean car and truck commitments, expanded charging infrastructure in frontline communities, and new policies that hold polluters accountable. We are going to need EV big-rigs, buses, trains, backhoes, garbage trucks, fire trucks. EV cars, pickups and delivery vans are the beginning of the market for batteries, charging infrastructure and other elements necessary to keep the electric transition going--a transition that will be a marathon, not a sprint.
