As a citizen, a constituent, an atheist, and a science-based secular humanist values voter, I call on CARB to act decisively to protect California’s clean vehicle leadership. The lawless Trump regime’s overturned regulations are harmful to our health, economy, and environment. I accordingly call on California to respond with strong state-level incentives for EVs, accelerated clean car and truck commitments, expanded charging infrastructure in frontline communities, and new policies that hold polluters accountable. These clean vehicle standards don’t just help Californians, they influence national policy and create jobs in clean transportation industries.
