The Trump administration’s rollbacks are harmful to our health, economy, and environment. California must respond with strong state-level incentives for EVs, accelerated clean car and truck commitments, expanded charging infrastructure in frontline communities, and new policies that hold polluters accountable. This is personal for me since I have breathing issues and cardiac issues and bad air quality is proven to be a threat to my health. However, these clean vehicle standards don’t just help Californians — they also influence national policy and create jobs in clean transportation industries.
