I am watching the meeting now.

#1 action, would be a pollution tax at the pump. The reason is to make it more expensive to drive a pollute mobile and less expensive to drive a clean vehicle. Also, many vehicles in California are registered out of state or have expired registrations and are not emissions tested. The money from the tax could be used for a program to retrofit older vehicles (classics) to electric. These older vehicles are gross polluters.

Zero emissions zones would help promote more zero emissions vehicles.

More electric vehicle charging in low-income areas and where low-income people visit, like laundry mats, libraries, grocery stores and local parks.

That is it for now. Thanks for having this listening session.
