utility boundaries

Thanks for a great workshop on Feb 7 - I am very happy that California is taking a leadership role in this space and making so much progress. I asked a question in the meeting about your ability to include utility boundaries as an option for downloading updated inventory data. Because utilities own and/or manage thousands of acres of land, we can be an important partner in the state's NWS and 30x30 strategies.
At SMUD, our Integrated Vegetation Management program is a very effective tool against invasive, non-native species and we are working on improved approaches to expand habitat for pollinators and other threatened species. The ability to consider the carbon sequestration benefits of that work and to understand how the state level methodology translates to our service territory would help us calibrate our direct measurements and facilitate longer-term planning. Presumably the existing dataset used to support the utility boundary filter in Cal-Adapt could be reused? Thanks again for considering.
