However simpler solutions have been proven to work on the front end in incorporation of feedstock with up to 1% additive of red seaweed (Asparagopsis taxiformis) for up to 80% methane reduction, as found in a UC Davis study. How long will a USDA study take in concluding that this additive is not poisonous to the heifer and downstream as beef?
