EZ Hold LLC Case Settles for $37,432.00

On April 12, 2013, a case was settled with EZ Hold LLC for selling EZ Hold Utility Jugs subject to the Portable Fuel Containers and Spouts regulation, title 13, California Code of Regulations, section 2467.2 and 2467.5. These products did not meet all of the performance standards or administrative requirements as specified in the regulations. Although, this case settled for $37,432, the company paid $10,000. The additional $27,432 was suspended, providing that EZ Hold does not violate the terms of the agreement for five years; otherwise the suspended amount will be due and payable.
