Toys "R" Us-Delaware, Inc. paid $16,000 in penalties for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached in January 2007. An investigation by the ARB showed that Toys "R" Us-Delaware, Inc. failed to properly self-inspect the portion of their diesel truck fleet that falls under the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP). To settle the case, Toys "R" Us-Delaware, Inc. agreed to the $16,000 penalty and to comply with the PSIP.
