Tamo, Inc. Case Settles for $3,900
Tamo, Inc. will pay $3,900in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $3,900 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality. This settlement was finally executed on June 15, 2017.
In 2017, Enforcement Division initiated an investigation Tamo, Inc. from the Smart Audit list. The investigation revealed that of Tamo, Inc. had failed to meet PM BACT requirements for one 1996 through 1999 engine model years by January 1, 2012 and failed to include the Disclosure of Regulation Applicability on the bill of sales, contract addendums, or invoices, in violation of 13 CCR § 2025(w). To settle the case, Tamo, Inc. has agreed to the $3,900 penalty and to comply with the Truck and Bus regulation and other ARB applicable regulations.
