T3 MICRO Case Settles for $45,000.00
On August 27, 2012, a case was settled with T3 Micro for selling non-compliant hair styling product into California that exceeded the 6 percent by weight volatile organic compound limit in the Consumer Products Regulation, Title 17, California Code of Regulations (CCR), section 94509(a). The company also failed to file an explanation of their product code with the Executive Officer no later than twelve months prior to the effective date of the applicable standard, or an explanation of the product code on an annual basis beginning in 2006 as required by section 94512(c)Administrative Requirements, Additional Product Dating Requirements. T3 Micro agreed to make payments totaling $4,500.00 to settle the case.
