SIMS Group USA Corporation Case Settles for $1,800

SIMS Group USA Corporation has agreed to pay $1,800.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations; $1,350 will be paid to the Air Pollution Control Fund and $450 will be paid to the Peralta College foundation for distribution to participating California Council on Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) colleges.  This settlement was reached in February 2015.

A routine investigation by the Enforcement Division documented that SIMS Group USA Corporation dispatch drayaged trucks not compliant with the emissions standards set forth in the Drayage Truck Regulation. To settle the case, that SIMS Group USA Corporation has agreed to the $1,800.00 penalty and to comply with the Drayage Truck Regulation and other ARB applicable regulations.
