Seaquest Oriental Shipmanagment Case Settles for $52,500.00

Seaquest Oriental Shipmanagment has paid $52,500.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on March 5, 2013. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Seaquest Oriental Shipmanagment vessel Raven Arrow, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters. Seaquest Oriental Shipmanagment took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, Seaquest Oriental Shipmanagment agreed to the $52,500.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
