California Air Resources Board

At a public meeting on June 25, 2020, the Board approved the Indian Wells Valley Second 10-Year PM10 Maintenance Plan.  This Plan was adopted by the Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District on May 7, 2020, and was submitted to the U.S. EPA as a revision to the California State Implementation Plan. The Plan was approved by U.S. EPA effective February 17, 2023.  The information on this page provides links to CARB and District documentation, as well as U.S. EPA actions.
