The 2022 Scoping Plan Update will assess progress towards achieving the Senate Bill 32 (SB 32) 2030 target and lay out a path to achieve carbon neutrality no later than 2045. CARB plans to initiate development of scenarios that will be modeled. The purpose of the modeled scenarios is to illustrate the effectiveness of deployment of different technologies and clean energy in achieving the state’s climate goals. This workshop provides another opportunity for stakeholders to provide feedback on PATHWAYS modeling inputs for the range of scenarios presented at the Scenario Inputs workshop held on September 30, 2021.
