RC Components, Inc. Case Settles for $11,625.00

RC Components, Inc., a manufacturer of aftermarket performance parts for highway motorcycles, entered into a mutual settlement with the Air Resources Board (ARB) in September 2013. The Kentucky-based company was discovered to have sold several types of such parts in California since 2011 that did not receive the required exemptions from state anti-tampering laws. The resulting civil penalty of $11,625.00 was applied to 31 part violations at a rate of $375.00 per unit. RC Components, Inc. fully cooperated with ARB during its subsequent investigation and is presently working toward compliance with all applicable emission regulations.
