Peter Dohle Shiffahrts-KG Case Settles for $10,000

Peter Dohle Shiffahrts-KG,paid $10,000.00 in penalties to the California Air Resources Board (ARB), for violating the Ocean-Going Vessels fuel regulations.  The violation was discovered during a routine inspection of the vessel by ARB staff.  This settlement was reached on July 24, 2018.  An investigation by ARB showed that the Peter Dohle Shiffahrts-KG vessel Maersk Enshi failed to operate on compliant fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters in 2018.  ARB alleged one violation, for 1 day, at $10,000.00 per day, and Peter Dohle Shiffahrts-KG took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion.  To settle the case Peter Dohle Shiffahrts-KG agreed to the $10,000.00 penalty, and to comply with ARB regulations.
