Perry Morgan Express Case Settles for $17,000
Perry Morgan Express will pay $17,000 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $17,000 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality. This settlement was reached in September 2017.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Perry Morgan Express failed to bring their entire fleet of their heavy duty diesel trucks into compliance with the applicable in-use performance standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus Regulation (TB ) as codified in California Code of Regulations, title 13, section 2025 (13 CCR § 2025). To settle the case, Perry Morgan Express agreed to the $17,000 penalty and to comply with TB and other ARB programs.
