Please see below for upcoming public events for the week of January 27, 2025.
Evening Community Meeting on Transportation Fuels Transition Plan: On January 29 in Richmond, CARB, along with the California Energy Commission (CEC), will host a community meeting to discuss how the State can create a reliable, safe, equitable, and affordable transition away from petroleum fuels. The public will have the opportunity to provide feedback, which will help to inform a Transportation Fuels Transition Plan that CARB and CEC are preparing pursuant to Senate Bill (SB) X1-2. The plan is meant to reflect and represent a wide range of community insights and concerns. Spanish language interpretation services will be provided. There are two additional in-person meetings, one in Bakersfield and one in Wilmington, scheduled for February. More information can be found in this community meeting flier.
Training Webinar on New Vehicle Emissions-Testing Requirements for Motorhomes: On January 29 via remote access, CARB will host the first of two public training webinars on new vehicle emissions-testing requirements for California-registered motorhomes. The second meeting is scheduled to take place on March 12. Staff will present vehicle-testing requirements for the Clean Truck Check program that began in October 2024. These tests must be performed by a CARB-credentialed tester. Staff will discuss the new requirements and show motorhome owners how to use the Clean Truck Check reporting system (CTC- VIS) to track their upcoming testing requirements and vehicle-compliance test results as well as learn how to find or become a CARB-credentialed tester. A recording of this training will be posted on the Clean Truck Check Report page. The public will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Webinar on DOORS Annual Reporting: On January 29 via remote access, CARB will host a public webinar on the DOORS annual reporting process. DOORS is the online tool set up to help owners report vehicle inventories and actions taken to reduce emissions. The regulation for in-use off-road diesel-fueled fleets requires fleet owners to complete annual reporting requirements and submit a Responsible Official Affirmation of Reporting (ROAR) form every year by March 1. Staff will discuss reporting changes and annual hour logs, as well as the submission of the ROAR, both electronically and as a hard copy. More information can be found on the DOORS Resources page.
Advanced Clean Fleets Truck Regulation Implementation Group Meeting: On January 30 via remote access, CARB will host a public meeting of the Advanced Clean Fleets (ACF) Truck Regulation Implementation Group (TRIG) to discuss outreach. The purpose of this TRIG meeting is to identify and develop outreach methods to inform fleets of the ACF Regulation. CARB adopted the ACF Regulation on April 28, 2023, and it became effective on October 1, 2023. More information as well as recordings of recent TRIG meetings are available on the ACF Meetings & Events webpage and on the TRIG page. The public will have the opportunity to comment and ask questions.
