California E-Bike Incentive Project
The former California E-Bike Incentive Project (Project), provided up to $2,000 in voucher incentives to low-income California residents for the purchase of electric bikes (e-bikes), including cargo e-bikes and adaptive e-bikes. The project prioritized funding for low-income Californians and those who live in disadvantaged and low-income communities.
The Project began in December 2022 and concluded in December 2025. The Project distributed over 2,246 e-bike incentives, and built out a retailer network of over 450 retailers and 25 community-based organizations to help with education and outreach.
