Submitted Comment Name James Meyer Affiliation N/A Subject EV's and insurance Message How do we expect to have adoption of EV's with how high the insurance costs are? I was looking at a used Tesla 2015 Model s. The car is around 15K used the lowest quote for insurance was $4200 a year. This makes it very cost prohibitive to the adoption of EV's. I drive 6 miles one way to work and we do a lot of in-town short driving trips during the week. An electric EV is perfect for this use and I would have no problem purchasing one.
