On January 26, 2023, the California Air Resources Board will consider approval of the Ventura County 2022 Air Quality Management Plan for the 70 parts per billion 8-hour Ozone Standard (70 ppb ozone standard) (2022 Plan). The 2022 Plan was approved by the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District on December 13, 2022 and demonstrates that Ventura County meets the Clean Air Act requirements for the 70 ppb ozone standard. CARB will submit the 2022 Plan and the relevant portions of the CARB Staff Report to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) for inclusion in the California State Implementation Plan.
