Assembly Bill 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee Virtual Meeting: On May 24-25 in Sacramento and via remote access, CARB will host a public meeting for the Assembly Bill 32 (Núñez, Chapter 488, Statutes of 2006) Environmental Justice Advisory Committee. The committee is comprised of representatives from California communities most heavily impacted by air pollution, including those communities with minority or low-income populations. This upcoming virtual meeting is open to the public and includes a public comment period.
Public Workshop for Clean Transportation Incentives: On May 26 via remote access, CARB will hold a third public workshop to discuss the fiscal year 2022-23 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives. Participants will receive an overview of the proposed budget and the proposed investments from the Air Quality Improvement fund and the Low Carbon Transportation investments. CARB staff will also review topics covered in the first two workshops including the long-term plans for both the light-duty clean transportation equity projects as well as the heavy-duty and off-road equipment investments and strategy.
Training Webinar on Truck and Bus Rule, Off-Road Regulation, and Portable Equipment Compliance: On May 26 via remote access, CARB staff will hold a training webinar on compliance for the Truck and Bus Rule, Off-Road regulation, and the Portable Equipment Registration Program (PERP). The course will cover online reporting, current requirements and future deadlines for both the Greenhouse Gas Reporting regulation and the Off-Road Diesel Vehicle regulation, and eligibility and requirements for PERP.
