Musket Corporation Case Settles for $24,000

In September 2014, Musket Corporation agreed to a penalty based on violations of the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting Regulation. Musket Corporation supplies transportation fuels subject to Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting Regulation, Cal. Code of Regulations, title 17, §95100 et seq. (MRR).  Musket submitted its report for 2013, eight days late.   Musket paid a penalty of $24,000 based on $3000 per day x 8 days.  In addition to the penalty, Musket submitted an updated monitoring plan earlier this year that includes additional procedures to avoid future late reporting.
