Motsenbocker’s Lift Off Inc. Case Settles for $20,000

Motsenbocker’s Lift Off Inc.manufactured, sold and offered for sale in California cleaning products in violation of ARB’s Consumer Product Regulations.  These products exceeded the volatile organic compound (VOC) content limits for the General Purpose Cleaner (0.5%) and General Purpose Degreaser (0.5%) categories and resulted in 2.18 tons of excess VOC emissions. The penalty in this case was reduced because Motsenbocker’s Lift Off Inc. was able to demonstrate financial hardship. The case was settled on January 19, 2017, for $20,000.00.  The company no longer produces these products and is no longer in violation of the Consumer Product Regulations.
