Project Details

National City will use the Clean Mobility Options Mobility Project Voucher to fund its first zero-emission shuttle program. National City deals with air quality issues due to its central location in the region. The City’s Free Ride Around National City (FRANC) Program will provide a clean and safe travel option, improving quality of life by expanding affordable travel options while reducing pollution. The project will tie together destinations in downtown National City with the 8th and 24th Street Transit Centers, Navy Base San Diego and Southwestern College, providing first and last mile connections with the rest of downtown.
