ITS Technology & Logistics, LLC Case Settles for $6,375

ITS Technology & Logistics, LLC (ITS), paid $6,375.00 in penalties to the California Air Resources Board (CARB), for violating the Cargo Handling Equipment (CHE) regulation. The violations were discovered during a routine inspection of CHE at the BNSF Intermodal Railyard in Stockton, California by CARB staff. The Settlement was reached on December 11, 2018. An investigation by CARB showed that ITS failed to perform annual opacity tests on 17 pieces of CHE as required by the CHE regulation. CARB alleges 17 violations, at 375.00 per violation. To settle the case, ITS agreed to the $6,375.00 penalty and to comply with CARB regulations.
