H&H General Contractors Incorporated Case Settles for $9,750
In November 2014, H&H General Contractors, Incorporated paid $9,750.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $7,312.50 went to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality; $2,437.50 went to the Peralta Colleges Foundation to fund emission education classes conducted by participating California community colleges, under the California Council for Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) program.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that H&H General Contractors, Incorporated failed to register and label their off-road diesel fleet as required by the Off-Road Diesel Vehicle (ORDV) regulation. ARB documented violations as they related to the ORDV regulation. To settle the case, H&H General Contractors, Incorporated agreed to the $9,750.00 penalty and to comply with the ORDV program.
