Greenleaf Inc. Case Settles for $3,000

A case was settled with Greenleaf Inc. for selling Air Freshener: liquid /pump spray products into California that contained concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in Consumer Product Regulation, title 17, California Code of Regulations, Title 17, CCR, section 94509(a). These products were sold from January 2015 to December 2016 and resulted in 0.33 tons of excess VOC emissions attributable to the violation. To resolve the violation, Greenleaf Inc. paid $3,000 in penalties and is no longer selling these products in California, therefore is in compliance with the Consumer Products Regulations.
