GMI LLC Case Settles for $113,000.00

On September 16, 2013, a Consumer Products case was settled with GMI LLC for selling and/or supplying several non-compliant Carbon-Off!! “Oven or Grill Cleaner” products subject to the California Consumer Products Regulations. By violating a toxic air contaminant prohibition for this product category, these products contributed 5.5 tons of methylene chloride emissions to California’s air. In addition, these products also exceeded the VOC compound content limit for “Oven or Grill Cleaner”, and contributed 0.6 tons of excess VOC emissions to California’s air. GMI LLC.paid $113,000 to settle this case.
