$10,000 in Fines Paid by Glencore

ARB's protocol with Glencore requires that they provide both a first notification and a final notification of fuel being imported into California via marine vessel. The first notification is due at least five days prior to the expected arrival of the fuel, and the final notification must be made before the start of transfer of the fuel. On May 8, 2005, Glencore imported several compartments of premium grade CARBOB and provided both the first and final notifications after the start of transfer. The case has been settled for $10,000.
