Epicycle, LLC Case Settles for $7,000

Between January 1, 2012 and October 2013, Epicycle, LLC manufactured for sale in California their Oranj Peelz degreaser product that was in violation of 4% VOC limit for General Purpose Degreasers. During the course of the investigation the company also disclosed an additional non-compliant degreasing product, Pro J, which failed to meet the 4% limit for General Purpose Degreasers. Epicycle immediately ceased sale of the products and has since reformulated their degreasing products. Approximately 0.44 tons of excess emissions resulted from the violations. The case was settled on November 21, 2014 for $7,000.
