CSL International Case Settles for $3,000

CSL International will pay $3,000 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations.  This settlement was reached on September 7, 2010.  An investigation by the ARB showed that the CSL International vessel, CSL Trailblazer, failed to properly complete switchover from Heavy Fuel Oil over to Low-Sulfur Distillate Fuel outside of Regulated California Waters.  To settle the case, CSL International agreed to the $3,000 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
