Bogarin Trucking, Inc. Case Settles for $33,300

Bogarin Trucking, Inc. will pay $33,300.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations.  These funds will be deposited into the Air Pollution Control Fund which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality.  This settlement was reached in October, 2016.

An investigation conducted by the Air Resources Board (ARB) determined that Bogarin Trucking, Inc. failed to perform annual opacity tests for eight (8) vehicles for the years 2014 and 2015 and failed to comply in a timely manner with the Truck and Bus regulation.  ARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus Regulation and the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program.  To settle the case, Bogarin Trucking, Inc. agreed to the $33,300.00 penalty and to comply with Truck and Bus, PSIP and other ARB programs.
