Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (Deautschland), GmbH & Co. KG has paid $55,500.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on December 4, 2012. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (Deautschland), GmbH & Co. KG vessel Juergen Schulte, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters. To settle the case, Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (Deautschland), GmbH & Co. KG agreed to the $55,500.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
