Adoro Cosmetics & Triple Image Cosmetics Case Settles for $12,000.00

On December 2, 2013, a case was settled with Triple Image Cosmetics and Adoro Cosmetics for manufacturing/selling “Adoro Nail Polish Non-Acetone Remover” subject to the VOC limit for Nail Polish Removers, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 1 percent by weight VOC limit. There were approximately 0.84 tons of excess emissions. In addition, the companies failed to display the date of manufacture on the product. The company paid $12,000 to settle the case.
