Enterprise Holdings, Sacramento/Central Valley Case Settles for $6,000.00
In March 2013, Enterprise Truck Rentals LLC agreed to pay $6,000 in penalties; $4,500 to the California Air Pollution Fund and $1500 to Peralta Colleges Foundation, for violating air quality regulations.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Enterprise Truck Rentals LLC failed to properly self-inspect their diesel trucks to assure the trucks met state smoke emission standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP). To settle the case, Enterprise Truck Rentals LLC agreed to the $6.000 penalty and to comply with the PSIP and other ARB programs.
