Eagle Petroleum Case Settles for $131,000
Eagle Petroleum produces oil and gas in California; its emissions are subject to the Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting Regulation. For the 2013 and 2014 annual reporting periods, the Company was 164 days late reporting the emissions associated with its operations. The reporting lapse was promptly corrected once brought to the Company’s attention. The Company agreed to a $131,000 penalty, and submitted an updated GHG Monitoring Plan to ARB to demonstrate that reporting will be timely in future years.
