Between January and May, 2007, Dollar Tree Inc. supplied and offered for sale "Sanitax Toilet Bowl Deodorizer" and "Protecto Toilet Bowl Deodorizer" at retail locations throughout the state of California. Both products exceeded the VOC and para-dichlorobenzene limits set under Consumer Products Regulation Title 17, CCR, §94509(a) & §94509(o) for the "Toilet/Urinal Care Product non-aerosol" product category. The case was settled on July 19, 2007 for $94,000.
