Delon Laboratories Case Settles for $4,000

On May 16, 2014, a case was settled with Delon Laboratories for selling/manufacturing “Delon Nail Polish Remover Pump, Non-Acetone” subject to the VOC limit for the “Nail Polish Remover” category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 1 percent by weight VOC limit. There were approximately 0.19 tons of excess emissions. The company paid $4000.00 to settle the case.
