DaveXLabs, LLC Case Settles for $3,750.00

On August 6, 2013, a case was settled with DaveXLabs for selling “Lanza Healing Volume” subject to the VOC limit for “Hair Styling Products: Aerosol and Pump Sprays” category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 6 percent by weight VOC limit. Due to the date of manufacture, the violation was considered to be a concurrent violation with a case settled in 2012. There were approximately 0.113 tons of excess emissions. The company paid $3750 to settle the case.
